Baby Cards

One of my favorite pass times is watching crafting videos.  I really enjoy cricut videos.  Lately there haven't been many as most videos seem to be about the new Cricut Explore.  While I would love to have an Explore, I am not about to purchase one (if one was given to me I would accept), I currently have 6 cricuts, the original, 2 expressions (one I don't update so I can use it with SCAL), a cake machine, an Imagine, and an expression2.  I'm happy with all of these.  I don't like having to use my computer to craft.  If I go to a crop I don't want to bring a computer, I do have a gypsy, and I take that to a crop.
Anyway I found a video by cardcrazy09, she used the Wild Card cartridge for the card base,  I have to say I never looked at this cartridge as carefully as I should have.  I found this a really good idea and decided to make the cards myself.  I had intended on using ribbon on the cards but I forgot to add it and went ahead and adhered the layer to the card.
I used scraps for this card, and stamps from Inkadinkado.
on  the inside of the card I cut the base layer for the giraffe and glued it to the inside.
The card was cut at 6.25 and the giraffe at 4.25.

Happy Birthday

Here is a card I made for my son's girlfriend.  Inspiration for this card came from Christine at Creations with Christine.  I changed it up as I did not like the water color that she did as a background for the hats.  This is a simple card, I used Doodlecharms cricut cartridge and cut the border hats.  I cut these at 1.75 inches.  I was going to "square off" the hats but as I put them down and reached for the glue the were on an angle and I think I like this better.  The sentiment comes from SU, and the ink from My Pink Stamper.

Happy Fathers Day card

Here is a card I made for an order I have to fill.  I don't usually think of Father's Day so early.
I used Michaels cardstock for this card as well as som patter paper from an older 6 x 6 stack I had lying around.  I used eyelets in the corners.  For the scallop I used CTMH Art Philosophy (one of the Arrow cuts) and cut at 3.75 x .625, I welded that to a square which was cut at 3.75 x 2.444 (I used Walk in my Garden for that cut).  I then cut another of the arrow cuts slightly smaller than the first in white.  I used a SU Happy Father's Day stamp, and then used a CTMH tool to stipple some ink on the white so it wouldn't stand out so much.

Valentine's Notebooks

I saw a Post on My Pink Stamper for these Valentines Notebooks that Robyn was making for her kids.  I normally bring valentines treats into the office, but this year after seeing the video I decided to make these for the people who have kids.  You can find the link for these here.  http://www.mypinkstamper.com/2015/02/episode-362-valentines-notebook-using.html
I will try to post her video below as well.  I used all of the same sizes that Robyn used in her video.  I changed the critter to the lamb from Create a Critter, and I used a Martha Stewart punch, the in is from My Pink Stamper (Darkest Night), and the sentiment is also from My Pink Stamper , from the stampset More Punny-licious.  I have 3 of Robyn's stampsets and I have to say this is the first time I used them (have only had them for a couple of months), they stamp sooo nice.  You can find her shop at the link above.  I strongly urge you to give them a try.

Kiss me valentines card

This is a card I made for another co-worker.  For some reason unknown to me he wanted a Frog card.
I used Create a Critter 2, to make this 6 x 6 card.    The paper was all from scraps I had so I'm not sure where they came from.  I faux stitched around the circle and the patterned paper.

Window Valentines Card

Here is a Valentines Card I made for a co-worker.  His and his wife's favorite restaurant is Arturo's.
To make this card I used a SU label punch to make the awning, I used a window die for the window, I used Tim Holtz Embossing Folder for the brick, Sweetheart cricut cartridge, Art Philosophy cricut cartridge and Love you a latte cricut cartridge.  The sentiment is from SU Delightful Dozen stamp set.  I used my cricut and my cricut imagine to create the card, I used My Pink Stamper Darkest Night ink.

Remembering You Mothers Day

Here is a card I made for a friends mother for Mothers Day.  The card was cased from Card Creations by Chera.  I used the first stamp set I ever owned from SU, its called Remembering You,  the butterflies came from Cricut Cartridge Ribbons and Rosettes, and were cut at 1.5 inches.  The white in the middle was cut at 2.25 by 3.75, and the black mat at 2.5 by 4.  The pattern paper was from scraps.  The word mom was stamped with an alphabet stamp from the Buck or Two.
I used Darkest Night ink from My Pink Stamper.

Country Life Birthday

Here is a quick card I made using the country life Cartridge,  The base layer adhered to the white is from SU, the pink layer crossing the base layer was printed on my Imagine, I believe it was from Nursery Tails but I can't be sure as it was a scrap.  The jug and all flowers were cut with colours from the Imagine More cartridge.  I then placed them on a doilie, the sentiment comes from SU.  The bling and pearls come from the dollar store.

Electrician Birthday Card

I saw a card similar to this on Pinterest and thought it was a great idea.  I created a JPEG from a picture on the Internet and traced it in SCAL2.  I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Male birthday wishes

Here is another card for my coworker.  What better stamp set for a man.  I used gorgeous grunge and with Midnight Muse, ink and paper and Summer Starfruit ink.
The Sentiment is from SU, Brads from Michaels.  The label was cut from lacey labels, and the banner was cut from party pendants and banners (I think that's the name).

Happy Mothers Day

I'm working on an order of 10 cards, two are Mother's Day cards.  Here is the first.
For the tag I used a cut from Nursery Tails from my Cricut Imagine.  I stamped the rose (SU Fifth Avenue Rose) with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  I then coloured it with copic markers.  The pink and green background was created with the shaving cream technique.  The green background was from my scraps.  I cut out a butterfly with gold paper using Martha Stewart butterfly punch.  The sentiment comes from SU.  Ribbon from the dollar store.
